Bio- Terry Cox-Joseph

It's no surprise Terry became a gifted artist- while her siblings were given a box of eight primary color crayons the first day of school, she insisted and would settle for no less than the big box of one hundred- forty-eight, including the coveted "silver." She later received a bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in illustration from the Minneapolis of Art and Design.

Terry has a background in commercial design, printing, publishing, illustration and graphic design. She effortlessly shifts from one art project to the other with only chocolate to sustain her.

Recently Terry participated in "Mermaids on Parade" in Norfolk, a public/private venture involving artistic decoration of 10ft. x 3 ft. fiberglass mermaids, which were auctioned off for various charities.

When not pulling dog hairs from her wet canvases she is working on writing poetry, short stories and grocery lists. She keeps her husband and children on their toes by painting every available surface of the house.
